Multi-Unit Franchisees Jason and Howard Barton had a plan to open multiple locations when they signed a franchise agreement and they are executing at every level and will soon open a 3rd RNR Tire Express in St. Joseph, Missouri. The new location will open in the old subway location at 519 South Belt Hwy. The new store is expected to open in January 2019.

RNR Tire Express is building a new location at Messanie Street and South Belt Highway. The Florida-based company is a national franchise retailer of tires and custom wheels. The company has more than 100 locations in 22 states. The closest location currently is in Gladstone, Missouri.

Besides tires and wheels, RNR offers alignments, brake caliper painting, flat tire repair, wheel and tire installation, nitrogen tire inflation, wheel balancing, and tire rotation.

Howard Barton Jr., is the owner of the property at 519 S. Belt Highway that was once occupied by a small Subway restaurant. The sandwich shop closed at that corner several years ago and the building was torn down.

Barton said he expects his new store to be open by January 2019. The $627,000 project was recently approved by the city.
