RNR Tire Express Expands to Sioux Falls, SD
RNR Tire Express, which calls itself the fastest-growing tire and custom wheel franchise in the nation, is coming to Sioux Falls.
Franchisees Max Pfeiffer and Kevin Weisbeck are opening the location as one of five in the Dakotas and targeting spring of next year for opening.
They’re Aberdeen natives who also co-own hotel owner-operator K&M Development.
“Around the time the pandemic hit, we started looking around at other possible businesses to get involved with, and we discovered RNR Tire Express. We liked that it was a unique business model and it fit with our principles,” Pfeiffer said in a statement.
“When we met with the RNR franchise team in March, we knew they were people we wanted to work with. We’re extremely excited and confident about the opportunity. Our experiences hiring staff, running budgets and identifying key performances are all similar to the hospitality business, so we’re confident this will be a seamless transition.”
Founded in 2000 by rent-to-own veteran Larry Sutton, RNR has more than 150 locations in 26 states and was ranked the top tire and wheel franchise by Entrepreneur magazine this year.
Its niche is “convenient, no-hassle payment options that fit each customer’s budget,” the company said in a statement.
Its business model allows clients to pay for name-brand tires and wheels with a weekly or monthly option that is affordable to them.
“Kevin and Max are a great fit for our brand, and we are extremely lucky to have them as part of the RNR family,” said Sutton, who’s also the president of RNR Tire Express. “I’m excited to see how their hospitality background translates to owning and operating RNR locations. The Dakotas are an untapped market for RNR Tire Express, and the pair know the demographics and the makeup of the area very well, and I have no doubt their savvy business acumen will set them up for immediate success in this endeavor.”
A Sioux Falls location has not been selected yet.
