RNR Gives Away Car as Mother’s Day Honor
In honor of Mother’s Day, RNR Tire Express & Custom Wheels (RNR) in Jonesboro, Ark., presented one hardworking and deserving mother with a brand new car.
As a tribute to his own mother, David Harrison owner of RNR created the Mother’s Day car giveaway from his own experience. After being raised by a single mom with his three siblings, Harrison witnessed firsthand how much his mom had sacrificed just so they could experience a normal childhood.
Selected from thousands of entries, single mother Shereka Ray was unanimously chosen to receive a new vehicle due to her resilience overcoming adversity, devotion to motherhood, involvement in her community, as well as her time spent serving in the military for the National Guard.
In honor of Ray’s hard work, RNR Tire Express gave Ray a 2016 Buick Encore. The business also paid for the sales tax and licensing fees, as well as a $500 gas gift card. Yokohama also donated a new set of tires to Ray for when the first set is worn out.
“RNR’s commitment to positively impacting the lives of our dedicated associates and wonderful customers has always been at the forefront of our company’s core values,” said Larry Sutton, founder and president of RNR Tire Express & Custom Wheels. “Today was truly one of the proudest days I have ever experienced in business. It was an honor to help support such a deserving single mother and a true blessing for all those who played a role in making this event possible.”
