Tire franchise wheeling into Gem State with first location in this city
A native Idahoan and entrepreneur is driving forward with plans to open a tire Franchise in Caldwell in 2025.
Alex Henrie has signed a franchise agreement with RNR Tire Express, based in Tampa, Florida, and expects to open the first Idaho location early next year.
The franchise was established in 2000 by Larry Sutton, the company’s CEO, giving customers payment options like a “flexible, lease-to-own” plan. It has 197 locations in 29 states.
Henrie graduated from Boise State University with a major in entrepreneurship and business administration. According to a release, his career began as a project supervisor for a luxury apartment complex. He then worked as a mechanical lead for a general contracting company.
“Throughout my career in the construction industry, I’ve worked with people of all ages who have been dealt a rough hand,” he said. “Seeing the underserved is hard, so when I came across RNR, I thought, ‘this is it!’ RNR allows people to buy time and get back on track. Not only does the brand combine my passion for entrepreneurship and cars, but RNR resonated deeply with me because of their mission to support the underserved, aligning perfectly with my values and aspirations.”
Along with the coming Caldwell location, Henrie has expressed interest in owning more RNR franchises throughout the Treasure Valley and beyond.
“Growing our footprint by bringing RNR to Idaho is a significant step in our strategic expansion throughout the country,” Sutton said. “Henrie’s entrepreneurial and leadership background, coupled with his passion for the brand and alignment of values, make him the perfect partner to lead our expansion into the state.”
